About me
I am passionate about helping children who struggle in their early years to grasp reading and spelling. I work as a Learning Support Officer and Tutor. My passion is driven by understanding the long term effects that challenges in reading and writing can have on other areas of a child's wellbeing.
I have 10 years+ experience supporting neurodiverse children. Experience with children who are Twice Exceptional (2E), Gifted, Dyslexic, Dysgraphic, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), Autism Spectrum (ASD), Developmental Language Disorder, (DLD) Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) & Auditory Processing Disorder. (APD).
Prior to following my passion, I worked for 10 years+ at The Royal Children's Hospital developing support programs for survivors of childhood cancer..
I look forward to hearing from you.
